Student-centered, personalized, strategic tutoring with an emphasis on deep learning that focuses on not just what the student learns, but also how and why the student learns. Sessions are offered for humanities and social science subjects for students grades 6 through the undergraduate level of college. Sessions are 50 minutes, offered online with limited options for live, in-person sessions.

SAT and ACT Test Prep focuses on test-taking strategies including reading strategies, time management strategies, and more. Special emphasis is given to SAT Reading and Language and ACT Reading and English. Desk43 also offers test prep services for other tests such as GED, Accuplacer, and more.

Writing Workshops are the live versions of Essay Reviews, designed for students who have completed a writing assignment and who would like or need feedback. Students receive individualized, revision-based dialogic feedback. Students can choose a general or specific review and receive guidance when making modifications. Please note: Writing Workshops do not include Standard or Advanced Essay Review services like proofreading and limited re-writes. For those services, please place an order.

Writing Tutorials are designed for students grades 6-12 as well as college undergraduate and graduate students who have a writing assignment and need guidance through the writing process. Tutorials focus on planning, outlining, drafting, composing, and reviewing writing. Students may choose one tutorial for one aspect of the writing process, or several tutorials for every aspect, receiving live help with the writing assignment from start to finish.
